The Nördlingen Railway Museum not only exhibits everything that runs on railroad tracks, but also restores it in its own workshops. Over the course of time, all kinds of train material has been collected. As perfect restoration usually takes more time than originally planned, many trains are left to rust in the sidings. But sooner or later, the trains are ready to run again and are thus saved from the scrapyard.
