I was in Los Angeles yesterday. Fairly happy with how this turned out. I wanted this iconic building to be held in the context with how we, as typically weary travelers, see it and get to interact with it -- through the bars and windows of a shuttle bus. #architecture #LA #airport #icon

#2016 I've edited and tagged this to be part of the 2016 In Review challenge. I really love this shot for lots of complicated reasons. I've done a half dozen trips to LA this past year on a family situation, and I've come to associate really intense feelings with this overwhelming airport and it's iconic architecture. This is literally the closest I'll probably ever get to that building, and dang if I don't always see it when I'm on the shuttle heading to or from Hertz car rentals.
