The city’s former post office, built in 1911, is an ornate Greek revival structure with portico and ionic columns outside, and terrazzo floors, Bedford stone, marble and granite features inside. Since its closing, a senior center occupies the downstairs, and the “Post House Ballroom” is located upstairs, an elegant venue for reunions, weddings, anniversary parties and more.
