Birds find a resting place on top of the Bowman, one of two bronze Indian warrior sculptures in Chicago. The 17-foot equestrian statue sits across Congress Parkway from the Spearman, both sculpted by Ivan Mestrovic and installed in 1928. Both guard the entrance to Grant Park.

In the background stands the Auditorium Building, home to Roosevelt University.
