Never lets the facts get in the way of a good story or oilman on the prod. This was an old automobile service station turned oilfield service company now a Texas barbecue joint and tourist trap. All of the artifacts are from the glory days of Texas oil roughly 1920-1960. The big gushers were somewhat earlier but the big money came in the came in the mid-century. As they say, "Thank the lord for one more oil boom"... it's actually natural gas these days.
The picture makes a cozier impression than the images of Western cinema give us.
